Sign Installation

Making a sign is half the job. Getting it onto a building, level, secure, and without damaging the facade or holding up the rest of the trades, is the other half.

We install signage right across the Sunshine Coast, from Caloundra to Noosa and out through the hinterland. We install the signs we make, and we install signs made by other people, which happens more often than you would think.

What we install

Retail and commercial fitouts. Working in alongside builders, shopfitters and electricians to a program. Fitout signage is nearly always last in and always compressed, so we plan the install around practical completion rather than hoping there is time at the end.

Shopfronts and fascia signage. Panel signs, lettering, blade signs, under awning signs and lightboxes.

Rebrands and rollouts. Multi site rebrands where every location needs the same change on the same timeline. We are set up to run these to a schedule and report back as sites are completed.

Building and architectural signage. Cut out lettering, illuminated signage and large scale work at height.

Free standing and pylon signs. Including excavation, footings and setting posts. See pylon and free standing signs.

Statutory and wayfinding packages. Full building fit outs of directional, room, braille and tactile signage to a schedule. See wayfinding and safety signs.

Point of sale and promotional rollouts. Time sensitive campaign installs across multiple sites.

Vehicle and fleet. In our Buderim workshop. See vehicle signage.

Access, safety and the paperwork

Sign installation regularly means working at height, over a footpath, in a live retail centre, or beside a road. All of that comes with obligations.

We carry public liability insurance, work to safe work method statements, and hold the tickets required for the work we take on. Where a job needs an elevated work platform, a scissor lift or a boom, we arrange it. Where it needs traffic management or a footpath closure, we arrange that too. Where a shopping centre requires an induction, insurance certificates and an out of hours permit, we deal with centre management rather than putting it on you.

For anything requiring a QBCC licensed contractor, ask us and we will confirm what applies to your job.

Working around your trading hours

Very few businesses can afford to shut the front of the shop for a day. Most of our retail and hospitality installs happen early morning, after close, or on a weekend so the disruption lands outside trading. Tell us when you are quiet and we will work to it.

Removal, make good and relocation

We also take signs down. End of lease make good, removing a previous tenant's branding, taking down an old structure before a new one goes up, or relocating signage to a new premises. Make good usually includes patching and touching up the fixing points so the wall goes back to the landlord in reasonable condition.

Frequently asked questions

Will you install a sign we bought from someone else?

Yes. We install third party and interstate supplied signage regularly. Send us photos, dimensions, the weight, the fixing method and a picture of where it is going, and we will quote the install.

Do you handle council and landlord approvals?

We will tell you what is likely to be required and we design to a landlord signage brief where there is one. For a straightforward approval we can generally assist with the documentation. For a complex planning application you will want a town planner, and we will work in with them.

Do you work outside the Sunshine Coast?

Our core area is Caloundra to Noosa and the hinterland. We do travel beyond it for existing clients and for larger projects. Ask us.

Do you install on high rise or difficult access buildings?

It depends on the building and the access method. Send through photos and we will tell you honestly whether it is a job for us or one that needs a rope access specialist.
